Kitchen and Cake - 3rd August

Today it was all systems go in the kitchen. Everything that can be cleared out has been and now sits behind the sofa in our bay window! Mike has gone around and done all the preparation work and is ready to get started painting. We have had a look at a few colours but are going down the ivory route with natural hessian on a feature wall, it should look good.

Here are a few pictures of the way the kitchen looks at the moment.

He's about to move the big stuff out of the way - notice the laptop - neither of us can be too far from a computer or we get the vapours!

Jamie and I found ways to amuse ourselves and kept well out of the way! Although we did have some birthday cake to keep us going and sneaked in to grab a bit when Mike wasn't looking!
